Called twice, did not leave message. When I answered the third time, they were seeking information about a neighbor, "Does so-and-so still live at [address]?" I said I didn't know the person. The caller asked me to go see if the person was there; then she got very huffy when I told her I didn't know the person and wouldn't look. The caller asked me to give her name to the person; I refused.

Female knew my name, asked if I knew a neighbor - gave a name and address for neighbor. I don't know this person, when I asked swho was calling she just gave a first name and said it was a long distance call.  I said - oh a bill collector. And I hung up.  What was disturbing is they had my name and I am not listed in phone book under my name.

They were calling me too! looking for a guy who must live a few streets down from me. Isnt this illegal? If it is a collection agency?
