Shows as "local" on caller ID. Messages starts out "Congratulations, because you have made your payments on time, you have earned an lower interesting rate...." at which time I clicked it off... not a real person. nuisance.

Caller ID said "LOCAL". Pre-recorded scam, err, call, saying they can lower our credit card rates.

Got the call; no message. My bet is that it is a scam or telemarketer bothering people in the middle of the workday

Received a call from this number at 10:05am. Caller ID said "Local"....Area code 209 is 3,000 miles away - not local. There was nothing on the other end when I answered. I didn't think to look at the caller ID before answering. Get these calls frequently.

Caller ID "2097828675" ... NOV 07 at 12:28p Eastern time. This call was blocked after the first ring on my phone by a free service available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner).
