Did not answer and they did not leave a message.  Reading the other posts I'm glad I didn't

Same here...caller ID said test, they left no message.  Glad they didn't.

Caller ID "2097828675" ... SEP 22@11:45am EDT… Call blocked after first ring by a free service available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner). 800notes is currently blocking the name of that free service so you will need to Google "No more robocalls" to get more information.

I have researched online to purchase a call blocker device that you plug into your phone line. I am buying both the CPR call blocking model V 202 and the Sentry 2. Amazon reviews has great feed back from customers about them. What one lacks the other takes care of. Also Go to youtube and search that model number to see what it does. if you plug it in a certain way you won't be able to use your caller ID. But it's a simple fix or switching is very simple not complicated check it out. believe me I have no invested interest in this device at all. I just want to have peace and quiet like you no phone calls.

annoying...they hung up when answered...called back and recorded message said "Press any number to be removed from list"...right!
