Caller says he is a vendor through Microsoft who knows your computer has downloaded malware/a virus.  He attempts to get you to go to the computer to log on and allow him to "walk you through" correcting the problem.  The caller's name was John Brown, yet he had such a thick Indian accent, he was hard to understand.  When he called the first time and spoke with my wife, he said he was with Microsystem Repairs.  When I called back, he said he was with Care Plus.  When I asked where he was located, he said he was in Kentucky.

My father-in-law just received the same phone call from the same number.  The guy did have a heavy Indian Accent.

1st I got a call from private number saying he was a windows tech. I said I would call back but he refused to give me his number. Several days later I got another call from a private number. Both callers claimed to be technicians and both had thick accents.  The 2nd caller did give me this call back number, but when I tried calling it I was told it was not in service.
