The Canadian government is totally powerless, because our DO NOT CALL legislation only works if the call is actually made IN Canada - it has no effect and we have no jurisdiction outside our country. These scammers call from India or other Asian countries and they are essentially reading from a script - they really are a bunch of ignorant a**holes. So, don't complain about the DNC list, it's a waste of your time.  Instead, do something nasty like holding down any key on your phone to blast a tone into their ears. They'll hang up pretty quickly.  Works all the time for me.

I really want this number reported to Security  ... When you tell them to stop calling and NOT to call again! they make very rude and vulgar comments,  The name first was John, then called an hour later and it was Cheev..
  They are un-wanted, should be reported, phone should be terminated.  my software upgrade!!  my [***]!!

If anyone reads this and knows how to have this scam investigated, charges should be laid for their rude comments!

They called twice about an hour ago. The second time was after I hung up. He made no mention of where he was calling from but that he had to disconnect my internet due to the security threats I was sending out. I told him it wasn't possible because I didn't have a computer. He says well how is that don't you have a laptop? I said no I don't.:-) well OK my wife and son do but I don't lol. Told him not to call back or I would call the cops and report. Now that I seen the area code I know why he said he would call back everyday and it wouldn't matter if I called the cops, go ahead and call them he says. I'm not racist but let me tell you, the comments going through my head are endless right now lol

Called saying "we are about to disconnect our Internet. Are you ok with that?"  After a few choice words I hung up.  They called back and my husand picked up, listened to what he had to say and hung up.  Usually I like to keep these clowns on the line to waste their time...wasn't in the mood for it today!  Just sad that they find people to fall for their scams.
