i got a phone call saying his name was peter wilson with an indian accent saying my computer had faults on it and he was from windows i asked where he calling from he said london and address which i do not remember he asked if could do a few things so his engineer could link up as he went on my computer later he said cost 150 pounds i told him i was a pensioner he said he could do it for 99 pounds i reluctantly agreed paid with my debit card told me to leave my cumputer on  phoned back next night asking for an extra 100 pounds i told him i had no more money in my account he asked when it would go in i said 15th july

my mother had a call and they said to call back on 209 690 9368 it was an indian gentleman saying there was a section 5 virus on her computer and he was calling on behalf of micro soft they asked her to turn the computer on.  She refused and said her family would deal with it.

who are these people calling regarding computer problems...

I received a call from Alex saying I had a virus in my software & it needed to be repaired.   Ended by paying them $160 via Paypal,  just to get rid of them.   Am now worried about all of my accounts.

I got the same phone call from a man from microsoft tech saying my computer had a virus and it was ready to crash. He told me he would be able to install protection on it and it would be for a small cost ($100-200). I said I didnt have that kind of money, so he "spoke to his manager" and said he would do it for only $100. I told him i would contact him later because i couldnt make that decision at the moment, but he was very persistent. I just hope nothing happens to my computer, because they know our IP address.
