Received a call from this number asking for my wife by first name only.  Claimed to he Shaun Anderson from the Dept of Legal Affairs, US treasury.  Needed to speak with my wife regarding a legal matter.  When I asked if I can help he said no, he can only speak toher and gave the call back number.  I asked what it was regarding and he said it was regarding papers that they sent about 1 month ago and that she never responded.  I said that I am home and never received any papers. He said yes they were sent and she needed to call back.

Same name and number and message left on our answering machine.

Got a call from that number today asking for my wife, badly pronouncing her name. Only it was Sean White! I called back after an hour and asked for a case number. Could only talk to her. I told him to put it in the mail so when it turned out to be a scam I could put his [***] in jail for mail fraud. He then said I needed to protect my [***] and my wife's [***]! I laughed at him and hung up.

The caller asked for me by name, asked for my attorney's name, and threatened me with some unspecified legal action.  He said he was from the Office of Legal Affairs, US Treasury.  When I questioned his story he became very belligerent and threatened to put me "behind bars within 2 hours."  The caller became more an more agitated as I refused to believe his threats and developed a strong Indian accent as our conversation progressed.  He originally gave his name as "John Smith", but later changed it to "David Johnson."  I could hear other people on phones in the background. I finally succeeded in getting him to hang up on me.

Same here but he said he was Inspector Eaton Smith. It did frighten me since ha had my address but I knew with the Indian accent he probably want from the US Govt.
