These people are asking for my social security number and calling to harrass me. They say I have a debt but will not reveal to who, where or why.

Made a police report. Do the same if these people harrass you too.

This guy pretending to be Kevin Smith from fiber legislation of customer affairs and business and then call again pretending to be Steven Smith of National Crime Bureau of Investigation which all the way to IRELAND? Then called back again pretnding to be Officer Robin Williams, Officer Rick Williams, Officer Eric Williams and giving fake badge numbers.  Trying to scam people to obtain money.  Pls. report it to IC3, FTC, Attorney General and Social Security to protect yourself.

This man who told me his name was John Walter keeps calling me and telling me  he is a paralegal from california and that criminal charges will be brought up on my husband if he does not call. After alot of research I found out this is just another scare scam to get you to pay up.

how did you get him to stop calling and how did you find out it was scam?

Paralegals do *not* call up and tell you "criminal charges will be brought up on my husband if he does not call" so you have a chance to flee. THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers use bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.
