dead air

Calls 2-3 times a day. I never answer. Probably a spoofed/fake number. Probably a bill collector.

caller ID states:UTILITY SERVICES. Since I live in an area with underground utilities and received a notice that services may be interrupted due to work being done and that we would be notified when in our area, I answered the phone. What I got was a recording about my home loan! 1) I do not have a home loan and 2) why list as UTILITY SERVICES when it's not about utilities?!
I have now purchased an incoming call blocker, let these jerks listen to a ringing phone that I will never hear.

I keep getting calls from this company who know our names. I do not have a "warranty expiring on a security system made by GE" in fact I don't have a security system at all, but I'm not telling these ghetto bros that so they can break in. I have asked for my number to be removed, called back after and followed the prompts for it to be removed and have repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor when they call and have been told " there is no time for that" Really? But there is time to keep calling someone who clearly isn't going to be giving you any money or even common courtesy. Today I started using profanity...maybe that will stop them but I doubt it. I'm also on the Do No Call List which is a load of crap apparently. Also the guy tells me he is " a volunteer working to keep folks safe" Right. a volunteer for GE. Are you really as stupid as you sound?
