ive been getting repetitive phone calls from this number for several weeks now, 2x a day at least. It appears to be a creditor. They're asking for a woman that I've never heard of, demanding a call back from her or her attorney, and threatening legal action if she doesn't.  The phone number itself is local, but there is no name associated with it. The call back number is in Wisconsin.  I called to tell them to remove our number, and a very rude woman answered. I tried to give her the reference number the message referred to, but she insisted on my phone number. I questioned who she was, what her company name was, and she hem-hawed around giving me an answer. When I finally refused to give my number without more information from her, she said she was with AIF. A Google search yielded no results from their name or phone number. When I still insisted on more info about their legitimacy, the lady abruptly told me to have a nice day and hung up.

Got the same stupid message, called those *sshole* back and got the same response. I told them where to go.

It's a scam. Ignore.

Same thing call at least 3 times per day.  Use an additional number of 415-582-6742,   The seem to love me as they have called for at least four years.  I think it is time to get a new phone number.

I received a very cryptic and somewhat threatening call in regards to a bad check from these folks.  I waited to call them back after listening to their voice mail message. They asked me my name, phone number etc, and then looked up my name on a list.  Also they asked if the person that left the message gave the name of the party they were looking for and if there was an arbitration number.  They said they could not find my name on the list and said they would not call anymore.  I think it is creepy that these people call and start an information file about a person.  I do not write checks, so this is all a creepy survey to get information.  I wish these people would do more productive things with their time.
