no Caller ID; no message=scammer

People in broken english callin from an unlnown number allegedly from the US Gvmt informed me of my eligibility to receive a US government grant of $7,849.00 and to call with the provided alleged grantapproval no NA203 this phone no: 209-266-2952, which I did. Another man in broken english advised me to call him back from my cellphone showing the no (it doesnt show after a recent operation system upgrade) and pay a processing fee of $250.00 to receive the grant money, which would be allegedly paid at a local CVS pharmacy after receipt of further instructions.
This constitutes a fraudulent scheme to rip people off. I reverse checked the provided tel no which is from CA and at the time not known to be associated with a fraud. I hope the applicable government officials to rush and get these people before they do a lot of harm.

I received the same call, same grant amount as well. They asked for my credit card number (big no-no) and told me I could obtain cash in hand at CVS, 7-11, etc or through moneygram. Called the number they provided 209-266-2952 and a gentleman (as you said, with broken english) wanted to verify my information again- I hung up.

Called to say I was getting grant money of $7,849.00 from the government.  They wanted me to verify information.  They had the wrong information for me, and wanted me to correct it.  I would not.  I asked them for their number and they gave me 209-266-2952.  This is another scam.

I was told that i would recieve a grant of $7949. I called back to have them remove my name and number and I was told by them in a derogative way to "suck their d*ck*.
