Got the same call. US treasury blah blah blah. Govmt' never call you, they send a few letters and then send the black suits to visit you.

Received 5 calls from them. There is another Maryland number they use. I called our local PD and they said to ignore it.

Just rec'd call ... readout indicates call from Coulterville, CA. I ignored call since I don't know where Coulterville is. Threatening message left on Answer Machine to call back to avoid action.

Agreed - Fraud!
IRS correspondence always in a written format whether the request is for additional info to be mailed, office exam, field exam, phone exam at later date.
