I got recently one call from (661)748-0240, then the next day another from (209)233-6612 by the same person with an Indian accent, claiming he works for PG&E and leaving me two separate messages. He asked me to call back at (209)233-6612 regarding my PG&E inquiry from 1 pm to 6pm, 7 days a week. He did not give out his name, but he knows my name. However, due to two calls for the same issue from 2 different phone numbers, which do not match PG&E contact number, and the message and the two messages sound the same word by word, I found them suspicious. Also, I don't believe that PG&E office staff (I don't mean its crews) work from 1 pm to 6pm, 7 days a week. Then I searched on the web and found similar reports on 800notes.com. I am writing to add to what have already been reported to spread the words, alerting people to be more cautious and diligent about these types of calls. The scary thing is this person knows my inquiry to PG&E and my name. Thus, I tend to agree with Barry in his 11/11/2014 report that PG&E might have been infiltrated by informant, providing personal info to scam artists to milk unaware PG&E customers. This is really sad. I shall report to PG&E to verify this and if true, I hope that it will do something about it.
