Random number called me and left no voicemail.

Just got the call too. I didnt answer. No voicemail message. Did not call back. Looks like its from California though.

Caller did not identify, say "hello" or anything then abruptly hung up. Speed dialed the number and got a recording that said "the number you dialed is incorrect" hang up and dial again. Which I did and I got the same message.

This number apparently belongs to Pac-West Comm, Inc. in Jackson, CA. They are a telecommunications company that had to file Chap 11 Bankruptcy. I visited their website and they have an email address where abusive calls can be reported: abusepw@pacwest.com. Hope that's helpful.

I get a automated call that indicates that they want a home to install a security alarm.  The automated voice tries to qualify you.  When you don't qualify, they tell you they will take you off the call list.  When you try to get to a live person to tell them you are not interested, they hang up on you.
