Message left that we are being sued by the IRS. Only extension numbers left by female recording. Number tracks to Lodi, Merced, Modesto are.  We believe this is a SCAM. Check out Fox News and Youtube. Do NOT fall for this scam. Two people were busted in New York.

Not only are they modifying caller ID to make it appear they are actually calling from the IRS (frequently from "Area Code 202"), but they seem to know a lot about the taxpayer, often including correct address information and the last four digits of the taxpayer's social security number. This adds credibility to their scam.  Unfortunately, these fraudsters have "collected taxes" from far too many unsuspecting taxpayers.
