They left a message.  It's some sort of political poll or survey.

I'm guessing it's a volunteer for a certain candidate or a local poll like you said.
I've gotten other calls like this from the same area code.

It's just calling to make sure you get our & vote and to let you know where your local polling station is. I just answered it

We received a call from this number too.  She asked for my husband, then when he came to the phone she hung up.  He called back and left a msg but nobody returned his call.  Bazaar.

just call a call from this number - called right back - went to leave a message!  I told them to call me back!  Who knows!
