Just received a call from this number, 9:36 AM 7-14-16  Rung several times but I have chosen NOT to answer any number I don't recognize.  I have turned off my answering machine also so they can't leave messages either.  It has sure cut down on the number of these calls I receive :-)

I usually just pickup then hangup so they can't reach my VM. If it's a real caller they try again. Making it look like your number doesn't work can help cut back on SOME scam calls. In addition blocked callers get a disconnected recording as well.
