Man with accent identified himself as "Mike Rogers" (uh, I don't think so).  He claimed to be from UPS and wanted to speak with a specific employee about a delivery.  However, he was unable to provide a tracking number, so I said that we couldn't proceed further.  Then he demanded to know whether the person was still at the company, and I replied that we don't give out such information.  He pressed the point for a while, then finally gave up.

Jamaican scammers use UPS a lot claiming they are bring a big check and a new car.  It could also be a debt collection scammer. Good job on picking up on that and protecting your employee.

I had a very similar experience as this. Today he didn't claim to be from UPS, but he has in the past. He gets pretty aggressive and stays persistent.

Man called with an accent from this number, claiming to be UPS. Confirmed my name and asked if I worked for a university. I replied no and he hung up. I called back and the number is disconnected.
