I have been getting calls on my cell phone for a long time saying that the factory warranty for my car had expired.  I have been asking them to take me off the list, but they keep calling.  Today, I said yes to try and get more information and so they transfered me to a Senior Warranty Specialist who asked for my make and model.  I said I had a 2004 BMW 325i and he then asked for my VIN and millage.  I told him I was not in front of my car.  He asked when I could be reached with that info.  I asked if he had a number I could call and then he hung up.

I have read this is a scam, but I am not sure what scam or how to stop it since the numbers on callerid seem to be faked.

received a cell phone call from this number. i don't answer unk numers. They left no message, but from other comments it appears that these jokers are running some sort of auto warranty scam. Best thing to do is simply not answer.

This is a warranty scam.

I got a call from this number stating that my phone service is going to expire unless I renew it now. I called AT&T and reported them. It is to no avail.

this number is constantly calling me about the factory warranty on a car. I dont own a car. Hello!!! Funny thing is I tell them to remove me off the list and they keep calling. The next time they call i am going to threathen to report them to the FCC. Let's see what happens then. I also tried calling the number back several times and its busy.
