Sprint and also on do not call registry

I got a call on my cell pone from this number the other day.  I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.  I have Net 10, so apparently we don't all have the same carrier.  I put them on my "reject" list on my phone so I shouldn't get another call from them.  Lately I have been getting a lot of these kinds of call on my cell phone from different numbers.  No one has my number unless I give it to them, so unknown numbers go to the reject list.

Pressed 1, asked to be placed on do not call list. Was told to do it myself. Stated I already had. He asked why were we talking then. Rude, crude.

Recorded message from Rachel at Cardholder Services telling me that this was my final opportunity to lower my credit card rates.  PRESS 1 NOW!.  Hung up when I ignored them.

My cell carrier is AT&T, could that be the common thread?
