Some [***] who identified himself as "Mike" said that he was the owner of the company and that the name of the company was "John's Promotions".  I asked him why he said his name was Mike, and he said "Well that's my middle name".  What an awful scam industry filled with pathological liars.

Said they were with GE Security, wanted to install a system with yard sign for free. All I had to do was pay the monthly service charges  of $38-$48 depending upon level of service. When I started pushing back they hung up on me.

Just looked at my phone and discovered that my phone app blocked a call from this number about 1.5 hours ago.  Like all other piece of crap spammers and scammers, they didn't leave a message.

All callers that aren't in my phone's 'Contacts' list are blocked and sent directly to voicemail.  If no message is left (or a VM notification is received but blank), I know that it's a telemarketer, POS scammer, bottom-feeding 'bad debt' collector, or spamming recruiter with nearly-unintelligible English (from yet another India-based/controlled staffing agency)!
