I am selling a new cellphone on Craigslist. Text wanted me to click on a suspicious link to verify the value of my phone. This appears to be a scammer.

Same as above.. posted my used phone on craiglist.  text also wanted for me to value my phone on Usell.com.  Said they would pay for my phone in cash ahead of time.. ahead of what? our face to face local meeting?

Yeah definitely a scammer.  

I got a text from this number. It had the last four digits of my social security number, my name and was asking me to reply yes or no. The information was that I had been approved for an auto loan I never took out.

Same identical message. I requested a "used car" and received a reply stating a Dealership would contact me.

Is it Spam or new age Finance Marketing? Soon as I know, I'll tell the World.

I got the same text as Lady A, with my first name and the last 3 digits of my social. Pretty freaked out they know part of my social... Hopefully this gets shut down
