Fraud offer fauls ads.they offer you a pre-aproved loan for $5000,00 dallors
then tell you to buy a green dot money pak and deposit $300.00
they will call you back asking for $300.00 more to order for them to
deposit $5000.00 in to your account

I got a call from this number that I have been approved for a loan of $5000 but in order to show good faith that i will make my monthly payments I need to get a greendot money pack for $200 and call them back. Once they have that $200 they will deposit $5000 for the loan plus my $200 into my account. I never got the name of the company but but he gave me his name which I don't think is his real name..

I also got a call saying to call this number with my "approval code" for a pre-approved $5000 loan. However the person had no idea who I was (how can I be approved for something when they don't even know who I am) and called my office/lab phone which somehow has shown up on some scammers' logs lately.

Don't get taken in by these kind of things. It's illegal to be asked up front for a "good faith" deposit in order to receive a loan. That's not how legitimate loans work. Do a quick internet search for the phone number or company name (which I was never able to understand, even after asking this telemarketer multiple times) to validate the legitimacy of offers. Never give any personal or financial information to someone who calls you, know the company you are calling and their security practices before ever handing over any identifiable information.

Sorry for what happened with you all but i was scarred of paying 320dollars before I have anything I borrowed money from my boyfiriend but i got loan of $3800 which i was told in few hours in my checking account.
