Automated calls - ID identified as Portland, ME. Left a couple of phone messages early this morning and recently with no name, company name, or phone number to return call - Mentioned my brother's name and about some complaint and to press #1 on key pad. If these people can't be professional and upfront on the phone, how do they expect anyone to take them seriously? My brother thinks it's just a scam and isn't worried since he hasn't done anything wrong, anyway. However if some unknown person or company has a problem with him, they can send him a letter about it in the mail with an official letter head, an address and phone number. Too many scam artists and pranksters using the phone these days.
