It was a robo survey. They didn't identify who was calling. They just started off with the message "Hi. I'm calling with a short public opinion survey on important issues facing the State of Maine. Are you a registered voter? If yes press 1. If not press 2." I started out by hitting random numbers and then just left the phone off the hook to see what would happen. Their predictive dialer just kept repeating the message without me doing anything. The call started at 8:15 PM and was still going after 9 PM. I'm going to leave my phone off the hook and see if it's still going at midnight. Don't think they will get many results from that line tonight. At the time I'm submitting this message they are up to 50 minutes.
