any one knowing who this is.  tired of folks just calling me

Caller ID says unknow name, have received several "unknown name" calles from this area code & 478 exchange. Same annoying people? In any event I'm on the, what seems to be useless, DNC list.

I got a telemarketing recorded call from this number saying they can lower my credit card interest rates.  I hung up and called the number back and got a guy who denied being a business. Reverse search shows this is a cell phone in rural Maine.  This must be an wanabee con artist. Being a cell phone call, it would probably be useless to report authorities.  I might try anyway.

I answered the telephone and there was a recording promising a lower interest rate.  It gave me an option and I depressed the "1" key to speak with a person.  A person who identified herself as Heather of Account Services.  She asked "Would you like a lower interest rate on your credit card?"  I asked what company she represents and she didn't respond.  After asking the same question two more times, she hung up on me.
