Telemarketer calling with important information about my credit card.  SCAM!

I also got a phone call and it showed up from an augusta maine area code. Im familiar with call centers i have worked them for five plus years. Its a scam stating they are from motor vehicle services said there located in southern california which is a big red flag there if there calling from a maine number. I dont have a warranty on my vehicle and they tryed telling me i got it from a dealership which i didnt i bought my vehicle private sale. There just trying to steal your information and credit card do not put up with them. Someone needs to contact bbb or attorney general or authorities.
