Debt Collector Type Call:  They attempt to sound very "Official" !?!   Also switch to (206) 430-5375 (same MO).

A pre-recorded formal message (with your name seperately recorded) under the pretense that you are going to be served a Fraud Summons for Idenity Theft.  They tell you that your SS # has been used to conduct illegal activity!

They began threatening a Law Suit and want to verify your address for their Summon's Server.  Than they call back the following week and inform you that now their Client is willing to make a settlement out of Court!

All calls have a threat stated, that if you don't resond the same day, you will than "waive" your rights for an out-of-court settlement!

They’ve left messages with relatives threating to serve a summons’s and file a law suit. They are violating FDCA laws by telling a third party that they plan on suing you. In most cases they get your contact information from on line payday loan data base. They will ask you to wire them money to settle out of court. The phone number 207-221-0828 is from Maine but is most likely a spoofing number from outside the country. IT IS A TOTAL SCAM. Please DO NOT RETURN THIRE CALLS. If you do they will never stop calling……..

I've also been receiving these exact same calls.  They've called family members and freaked them out.  I had a few payday loans out that have all been paid off.  I think that's where they're getting their info from.

No, they can't send you to court.   The charges are fake. Its a scam.  They are trying to scare you into paying a fine you don't owe.
