Caller ID came up as "Wireless caller".  Credit card scam.  I pressed 1, not for "lower interest rates" (yah, they're not going to beat my local credit union's 5.5%!) -- and I told him to take me off his list and asked him why he doesn't have to abide by the US Federal Do Not Call list. He said that was for telemarketers and that's not what he is - that he bought a list.  That's crap.  I told him I would be reporting this to the FCC and he said go right ahead that's my right.  Darned right!

called but left no message

This is Card Services.  It is a scam ring operating using mostly northeastern US numbers.  Under the guise of lowering your interest rates they will attempt to get you to give personal information.  Do not answer, do not try to talk to them.

Got call on cell phone did not answer and did not call back

Received call.  They didn't leave a message.  # was on my caller I.D.  I didn't want to call them back to find out who it was.
