Call was automated said from IRS.

Message in a robot voice saying IRS and a lawsuit is being filed against you for you to call this number back. Foreign speaking person answers saying IRS how can I help you??? I told them the scam is up because local news has told us about this scam and not to ever call me back. The warning was that they want your credit card info to pay the IRS debt. Do not do it!!! It is a scam. iRS never makes this type of call or ask for credit card info. Beware!!

Same robo call as mentioned in the other replies about "being investigated for tax fraud" etc

received call from this number was automated about a lawsuit from the irs  called the number back was a call center Asian accented man said his name was david smith asked whom they were trying to reach and he hung up on me  called them back and informed them that I was reporting them to the fcc and law enforcement and they said sorry and no need and hung up on me

Received a call from this number and they said they were the IRS Tax Crimes Department.  I've been in touch with the IRS lately and thought it was very strange.  I was told a warrant was issued for my arrest and if the call got disconnected, law enforcement would be at my door in 45 min.  I realized it was a scam when they got very threatening and told me they knew everything about me, including the medications I took.  It was very threatening and I hung up.
