Fraud, stating that the IRS is about to file lawsuit against me.  They did not leave an Agent Name or anything.  Stated to call this number 206-973-2241 to find out more information.  I do not owe anything to the IRS at all and have never received any notices in the mail.

Can someone please find out who is doing this trying to scare US Citizens, it should be a crime.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.

IRS does not file lawsuits.  Tax disputes are civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes.   If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and ask for money.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

I received a call at noon from someone saying the IRS was about to sue me and that I was to call 206 973-2241. I called the number and there was no connection. I believe this is a fraud, false, call.

continue. When I looked up the number for the IRS it was different from the number given to call. Doing a reverse look up I discovered the name and location of the call. "Integra Telecom Landline in Seattle, WA"
