Scammer claiming irs filing lawsuit.

Yep, got a call from this number, I didn't answer. But I used a separate phone to call back (because I don't want whoever called me to know I actually called them back) just to know who called and left a voice mail. And there it was, a guy with an Indian accent answered with ,'Internal Revenue Service, may I help you?'. And I hung up!

A Lady who said her name is Mary Jones an that she works at the Washington DC Grant Treasury's Department saying I have been selected along with a hand full of people to get this grant she gave me a number her so called bosses name David Walton an told me to call I did an he said I needed to pay a one time only fee an I told No thank You you can keep it an hung up they thought they had me an I thought for a sec that it was real :( :( :( yeah not in my lifetime or any other

Recieved threating call from 2069059579.  Gaveall necessary irs credentials, said he wanted money today or arrest at my front door immeadiately.   Why dont the washington state law enforcement do something , like go to their door?   Must be something in it for them, huh?

Because most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan.   We have no jurisdiction in those country's. And FWIW, they have already busted one here in the states. Got 14 years!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
