I got emails through AMTA 11/30/12 & 12/06/12 asking me to call because they need a massage and medical assistance and it's signed with a name and an email.

I got one too. I forwarded it to the AMTA and asked them to try to block them. We can't block them, as far as I know, without blocking anything from the locator service. And some MT's have fallen for crazy scams. It would be annoying enough to have wasted time trying to help an ailing potential client.

I got an email from this eddymac too. It came through the AMTA website but just didn't feel right so I googled the address and found I'm not the only one. Gotta love the internet.

I, too, received the following email through AMTA. I have not yet confirmed fraud, but I always research before contacting any internet referrals just in case:
Dear Therapist, Please, I need a massage and medical assistance. Please, could you send me a reply email so we could discuss in detail. I await your reply email. Thanks, Eddy Mac

I received one from this guy too. It was vague so I googled the number... Hope everyone else has the same instinct to avoid people like this.
