SCAM ! I picked this up to listen to the recording. It *warned* me that the IRS was about to file a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call them at such-and-such a phone number. There have been warnings on our local news that this scam has hit our area and to not give out any personal information!

This s a scam ..I told the caller I called the IRS and they they do not make calls stating you are being sued..The rep cursed me and I gave it back to him SCAMMERS..

Well, they've hit Las Vegas.  It's 5-20-16 & I just rec'd that same message on my cell at 8:15 am, no less.  These scam calls are unsettling.

Idiot Scammers. The IRS doesn't call to demand immediate payment. If taxes are owed, you would have first received a bill in the mail. If you do owe, the agency doesn't ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone, require payment using a specific method (like calling back this number) or threaten to send local police to have you arrested for not paying.

Scam, just got that same call that others are getting about suit against by the IRS.  Thank god I had heard about this on the news.  I also have owed the IRS and they always wrote to me and never called.
