I was contacted by a sales representative who claimed they could promote my buisiness web page which I do have (they knew the company that I had the web page with and it was mentioned). I was told for $300, a one-time fee, my page wpould be published with various search engines including Google. I paid $300 to searchenginestartup.com and noticed there was no activity on my webpage so I contacted the company, received an outgoing message on what appeared to be a private phone number, no business name, with a small child making noice in the background. I then went on the internet to see if searchenginestartup.com was a legitmate business and found a page indicating that this is a faudulent business.
