I just received a text message from this number. "A Law-Suit has been filed against your Name, SSN and Arrest Warrant issued on your name. This may arise legasl consequences at your home and employment place. If you want to resolve this issue, call us back at State Attorney Head office on 202-459-0983" SCAM SCAM SCAM. First, what state? The number is not NC or SC, which is where I work and live. Secondly, illegal! You can not send info like this over text, privacy laws. Third, no company name mentioned. When I did call the number, it went unanswered. Lastly, the grammar in this message is that of a non-English first language type of person.

Good for you! Texts, phone calls, faxes & emails are NOT considered official notification. "State Attorney Head Office" - that's a new one!

202 is the area code for Washington D.C. and is probably spoofed - faked. The number you posted (206 area code ) is Washington state. I will wager the caller is not even in the United States.

I got the same text a lawsuit was filed against my name and ss# number and that i was going to be arrested
