It was an automated voice that stated It was their last attempt to reach me about a federal criminal offense and said to call back the number they called from. First I'm in the military if I committed any offense the army would be crawling my butt so fast I couldn't breathe! Secondly I've always been a law abiding citizen. When I called back it was an automated line and no one answered.

Got a threatening email, wanting $ for advance america or threatening legal proceedings, the email with a specific case # and amount was sent to about 27 people not just me. It listed this # as contact #, when i called it just hangs up.

It's a scam. Emails, texts, phone calls & faxes are not legitimate methods of debt notification. Only good ole US Mail is.
