This number called me, with a recording stating a complaint against me and my SS #, referring to a 6 digit number. Then it says press 1 to be connected to a rep. I pressed 1, and was disconnected.
I can't find any information about this number.

I had a voicemail from this number with the same message! Called the number back and the last tried to be rude until I told her I don't tolerate that at all!! She kept trying to verify information. I exclaimed to her that scams and id theft were rampant now... she made a snark remark like well I have all the info so I'm not scam. Told her I have experienced id theft and didn't know the debt. She wanted me to email something to her "assistant"stating such. The email address ended with @unitedrcovery.ca I've been searching until today didn't see any info on the number! Not sure if this is scam or debt collectors protect your info and check your reports!

Best wishes!!!

These jackholes will try to threaten you by telling you that they have a formal complaint with your name and social... Don't fall for their deceptive practices. Chances are, if you do decided to talk with them, they'll violate some portion of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and you may be able to sue them.
