ID shows U of Washington; caller claiming to be from Microsoft and when I asked him if he was going to need access to my computer, he said yes.

claimed to work for Micro-soft.....when I called # back it stated "that this is a non-working number at Washington State university"

The call came in on my cell phone. I don't know anyone in Seattle, so I didn't answer. Additional research online: people started complaining yesterday that the caller is pulling the old "I'm with Microsoft and something is wrong with your computer" scam. If the info is correct (sounds like the calls started less than a day ago), this version only just began its latest incarnation.
