It's best not to push the buttons that they tell you to push since often the buttons may do something that you don't want done. They may lie to you by telling you that the button will remove you from the calling list but will actually be authorizing them to do all kinds of troublesome things with your telephone number and your account with your telephone company.

It's best not to say a word on the phone but rather just keep your hand over the microphone part of your telephone receiver so that not so much as a sound comes from you or the place that you are in. Give the callers nothing that they can use to bother you with later.

It's better to just get their phone number from your caller ID or by going to *69 and then make a complaint to the Do Not Call Registry at http://www.FTC.gov with all of the details that you can find about the caller and the circumstances.

Trying blocking the number as I did. Also try blocking the "206" area code. I just did both will wait to see what happens. I've also beeb receiving numerous email from various Gov't agencies and Doctor's. These all lead back to "Benine" with a western union scam. If you don't know who sent the email delete or mark as spam, "Don't Open it". Virus is in email.............

Yea - they've called my number twice, but I'm like you guys - I won't answer unless I recognize the number (I have most of my friends on Caller ID!) Glad to see that y'all know who it is - and what an absolutely silly scam - cruise for a short political survey!!  Just don't press any keys - I have heard of folks being charged unrealistic prices cuz they had done that with another scam!!  Thanks for the info!

Called office.  Came in on second line plus said "Ind Suv Group" which I knew from experience is the ol' so-called political survey with *free* tickets for a cruise as a thank-you.  Of course, they need your credit card number for "port taxes" or some such garbage!!  SOS = SAME OLD SCAM!!  At least they've spelled Group correctly now - no more "GROP"!!   LMAO  Don't fall for it, they're just trying to get your information.  Needless to say, I just picked up and hung up.
