This is a telemarketing firm that tries to sell hard-money loans to small businesses.
They call our office daily, sometimes multiple times a day, despite my requesting that we be removed from their calling list.
The salesperson I spoke with lied by claiming that the business owner had called him and left a message. We have no interest in ANY services of this sort. He also refused to remove us from the calling list, claiming there was no list. There is obviously a list, since 99% of the calls we get from this number are robo-dials where nobody ever comes on the line.
This caller's latest trick is to leave the robo-call open to our line for prolonged periods (during which I can hear someone trying to sell their services to another business), so that we can't make or receive calls.
They don't seem to have realized that their behavior demonstrates that even if we were stupid enough to want to borrow money on their terms, we'd have to be downright fools to work with people who do business by lying and harassing.
