IRS SCAM call.  Pre-recorded msg (ILLEGAL) saying 'your are under surveillance' and that an Arrest Warrant has been issued for you.  Of course the voice is an INDIAN Accent.   Funny thing is, they never indicate WHO they are looking for; they do not mention their target by name which is also ILLEGAL.  Also, the calls come in from multiple numbers/locations across the country, inlcuding tiny town locations where there IS NO IRS Office!  They will ask you to call back a number; often the (CELL) number they are calling from - another CLUE.  True IRS calls come from BUSINESS LANDLINES, **not** cells.   They are operating on the FEAR and IGNORANCE of their random victims.  DON'T FALL FOR IT.  Do not Answer their calls; DO NOT CALL BACK.  REPORT to the FTC, the FBI and your State's Atty General.  THIS IS A CRIME.

they called me with the same story stating they were the irs and had a warrant for my arrest. i told them i was home if they wanted to come pick me up now,but advised them they may need a bullet proof vest when they got out of the car. he started cursing me and hung up

Same story as stated above and I called them just to find out what was wrong with them.  All I asked them back was what charges did I get and please come and pick me up, the male voice tone change from

Indian answered when I called the number and answered IRS.   Seattle #    So I had a little fun and drilled him.    He hung up!  lol  Stupid scammers!

IRS SCAM. automated msg. saying IRS had issued a warrant for my arrest. I notified IRS and FTC via their websites to lodge complaint against the phone number.
