I just got the same robo number, IRS is auditing you blah blah blah call back on the same number. Thinking about calling them back to prank call them, can't imagine what they are actually asking for lol. "Pay $500 dollars in an untraceable form of currency for us to go away...."

SCAM recording, says they have been trying to contact me to advise that the IRS is "investigating" (or "auditing", I don't remember which word they used) me and that I should return the call by telephoning them at the same number.
YEAH RIGHT.  HOPE THEY HOLD THEIR BREATH WAITING.

PS - The Caller ID only showed the phone number.  I checked it here within seconds of the call and there were no reports on the number, so I picked up the speakerphone.  Broke my own rule to not pick up unrecognized or unexpected calls.

The old IRS is filing a lawsuit against me scam (robo call to my cell).  I didn't have anything better to do so I called back and got a guy with an Indian accent.  I accused him of having carnal relations with monkeys and he swore at me and hung up.
