Got a phone call saying he was from Social Security in California.  He said I qualified for a $7,000 check from Social Security, and he wanted to confirm my name, phone number, address and last 4 digits of my social security number.  He had all the info except the last 4 digits of my SS#.  He gave me another number to call (206-462-5525) and when I called, he confirmed the same info.

It was actually a call that had 0 in the caller ID. But gave me this number for a contact. It was for a free government grant and asks for a $99 dollar charitable donation to a forien country to process the grant, they ask for bank or credit card information. and if you do not provide it they ask to western union the money.
