This person (man) called me twice, but I couldn't understand anything he said! I even had my husband and son listen to him but none of us understood him.  I do think he had my first name, but maybe I mistook his initial introduction. I blocked his number from my cell phone.

I got many call from this number telling me they have a us grant for 5600 and need to send the money to a store I hung up

Quit [***] calling my number!

No one here is calling you and it is unlikely that scammers read this site.   (Although some occasionally do)   Call blocker is your best bet.

Someone called me from this number, but I couldn't understand a word he said. He had my first name correct, but that is it. I heard the word loan but all else was unintelligible. I see that he has called before but never left a message.  The phone says it is a call from Washington, DC but the area code was wrong.    I blocked his number from my cell phone.
