It was my inquiring about a unsecured loan on craigslist. This is the ad "We can give you any amount you need without any problem with a low interest of 3%, but you will pay us back within the repayment period. why not contact us now" so i requested more information. this all done through email. Finally it was mentioned that a $75 refundable (not nonrefundable, but refundable)fee would need to be be paid in advance along with a copy of your drivers license (licence) or passport and bank account information. Flag went up for me so I explained that I needed more information about you as the lender and who or how would the payments be made. Well I got an address, which is a mailbox store, and this phone number which they explained they never give out because of the volume of calls received. Just trying to ensure this was verifiable and i found this site which confirmed my instinct initially. No I didn't send the $75 dollars, nor did i receive my loan. If it sounds too good to be true, you know its not a good thing!
