Caller: Government Grants
Call Type: Telemarketer

I was called and told that I was approved for a $9500.00 federal grant and that I needed to call his Sr. Officer at the number 206-414-6720.  Being the unemployed for 17 months I believed and then called.  Then the man told me that I had to send 190.00 to them before I could receive the grant.  Well, I then told him I had no money and hung up...

The accent from both men sounded as though they were from India.  I only say this because  I have worked with people from India and have been to India.
