Caller ID came up "Google SEO." Pre-recorded message regarding Google search engine placement. They did not claim to be Google but an SEO company. We hung up.

I pressed 2. I hope they keep their promise.
Google is based in Mountain View, CA. Their main phone is (650) 253-0000.
This phone number is an unpublished land line out of Seattle, WA. Telcopac, "The Caller ID Company", who's tagline is “let them know who's calling”™, confirms that they have provided caller ID services for this phone number, which means that it is not who it appears to be.

Same thing - got a call on my cell - but I did also get informaiton from my alarm company who adivsed me about 2 weeks ago there is someone out there who is pretending to be an alarm system organization - under NO circumstances shoud you give any informaiton to this company - Just ignore the call. Why pick up anyway if you don't know the number - just let it go to voicemail. Add it to your block list.
