OMG I took the call because I'm here in seattle, where 206 is. Turns out the caller was from a sweat-shop tech scam from India! He had me totally convinced that he was with MicroSoft and that I had downloaded a virus (which I probably did, but I didn't know he was from the hacker) my PC started "barking" at me, and at first I believed him, and spent 40 minutes on the phone with him. But after he had me upload teamviewer and wanted to "share" with him, I started getting suspicious. Then he asked me what I use the PC for, email? BANKING? RED LIGHT!!! Banking. That was it, I said I am not doing this, I need a callback number and I will consult my IT guy first. SCAM ALERT OMG Avoid these peeps, they want access to your computer.

and BTW the callback number is 1-844-210-3999, which I immediately googled and confirmed the scam. He also said his name was Peter Williams - must be the only one in Mumbai.
