There is a Phillip Morgan advertising in our New Zealand Hearld for a free GL1000 Honda motorbike that was his late grandsons. we emailed him, got a reply back today saying the bike is in the USA & we pay for shipping costs to us in Auckland New Zealand.... This is what his email said that we got this morning...

Thanks for your interest and sorry for the late response , First of
all i will like to introduce myself to you , My name is Phillip Morgan
and my wife name is Jane Morgan , Am 61 years old and my wife will
be 57 next coming month. We just have the chance to check our emails
today, The bike is still available and its not for sale am only giving
it out like i said on the advert.

We are currently located in Auckland and the Honda bike is at
,Texas , Usa I have already asked movers to bring the Bike here from
my son's house in Honolulu and was going to put up a new ad here in
Auckland . But my wife Advised me to ask one of my friend to put up
the ad on your Newspaper as she doesn't want to see the bike anymore
cos of the memory of his son sudden death. She thought if we place the
ad here in Auckland , she might still come across with you riding the
bike. So at the moment i have put stop of moving the bike back to us
in Auckland

We bought the Motorcycle for our son as his birthday gift last year
september. Its HONDA 1988 GL1500. It is 5weeks now since he died and
we would like for it to be passed out and seeing the bike always
brings back it memory and it makes my wife cry, as the house will be
emptied soon and I myself will be relocating to Winnipeg, Canada where
I shall stay with other family members for care..

Where are you based pls? If you are able to afford the delivery
charges I can coordinate the movers to deliver the bike to you
where-ever you are located in the state as I only gave them the
instruction not quite long.

Please let me know your position ( your full names and delivery
address ) maybe I can contact the movers. I have attached a photo of
it. This was taken two weeks ago.

Note that: Am giving this bike to you to maintain it and use it very
well for yourself , Due to the sudden death of our son. So we are not
selling the bike to you. Also i should have been riding the bike
myself , But due to the love i have for my wife , I dont like to see
her crying as she wouldnt like to be seeing the bike.

Does this sound like a scam???? and does this sound like the same Phillip Morgan.

Craigslist Scam - Listed as an item in my town but wasn't - 4 wheeler for sale

I am posting this in hopes that I can let people know of these names of people that are part of a scam trying to sell items on craigslist. I hope this info helps save some people from losing money.

This guy named Michael Beck posted a 4 wheeler on Craigslist in Amarillo. The 4 wheeler was listed at about half the book price. I sent a message to him that I was interested. He sent me a message back that he was in the military and the 4 wheeler was at a shipping company in Montana ready to be shipped. He said that we was training and could not call or be called (even though he could email me several times). He went into many details to make this apear legit, including the miles, VIN#, warranty information and was nice enough to not charge me shipping.

From his first message, I knew it was a scam but decided to see how far he would go with the scam.
I told him that I was interested and wanted to know how to purchase. He replied with an email that I would be receiving an email from Ebay-Motors with directions on how to purchase. I received an email that appeared pretty legitimate. It had ebay-motors logo and other graphics that looked good even though I never committed to any purchase on any website before I received the email.

The email stated that my transaction was insured up to $20,000 and I could reject the transaction after I test drove the 4 wheeler. The email instructed me to send the payment via wire transfer through Western Union (MoneyGram) to a (eBay Agen) named Ronnie Welch, 18025 NW Seventh Ct, Miami FL 33169. The seller's info was Michael Beck, 2254 2nd Avenue, Great Falls MT 59401.

This is not the way ebay motors does business so be carefull if someone tries to sell you something with the same steps.

This story sounds very familiar, this is what has transpired in last two days for us! Different names but same address same bogus information. We didn't send no money, sounded too good to be true and then a coworker sound your website. No phone number was ever passed by him. My husband give him his cell ph # but he replied with some answer that he was in special training and was not at liberty to call when he wanted. I replied to him asking him to use pay pal instead of money gram never heard anything back from the supposed "phillip". Husband & I were not sure about the whole deal from beginning maybe just hoping. Thanks for putting your information and this website to help and assist others. Hope they have friends like ours!

Craigslist Boat listing Scam--item said it was in our city, but no phone number to call. Turns out this is Philip Morgan in the military in Great Falls Montana. Philip Morgan also appears to be the Bruce Sanders listed below. WATCH OUT THIS IS A SCAM. The email addresses to watch out for are philip_morgan45@msn.com and bruce_sanders100@msn.com. Right Now Philip Morgan is trying to sell a crownline boat on Craigs list claiming he is beying deployed to Afganistan and doesn't want the boat to get old in his backyard and how he can't call just as everyone else on this site has found.
